Sparta Systems, Inc. is looking for a Sr. Site Reliability / Sr. DevOps Engineer to contribute to the sustainability and delivery of their SaaS product line, including supporting live products, sustaining engineering teams, and delivering new product features.
Requirements
- experience in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) – Cloud Formation/Terraform
- hands-on experience with Kubernetes, container-based technology
- experience in Linux Administration, (Red Hat / CentOS)
- experience in languages such as Python or Shell Scripting
- knowledge of best practices and IT operations in an always-up, always-available service
- expertise in workflow/pipeline automation leveraging Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) workflows.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with team of developers and QA analysts to understand and anticipate the infrastructure needs of Agile SDLC development and QA processes.
- Contribute to sustainability and delivery of SaaS based product line.
- Supporting live SaaS product portfolio
- supporting our sustaining engineering teams
- supporting the delivery of new product features spanning the suite of SaaS application developed by our engineering teams.
- delivery of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) with concentration on AWS-based resources and leveraging technologies such as TerraForm, Python, ELK, Datadog, etc.
Other
- Qualified applicants must have a Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field, and 4 years of experience with SRE/DevOps, SaaS applications.
