Requirements
- Proficient in Java
- Proficient in one or more of the following programming languages: Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala
- Demonstrated experience with one or more of the following: Android and/or iOS mobile application development, Unix and/or Linux Operating Systems, Big Data tools/frameworks
- Completed coursework, projects, internships, and or research in 3 or more of the following: Algorithms and Data Structures, Artificial Intelligence, Big Data, Database, Machine Learning, Object-Oriented Programming, Operating Systems, Software Programming, Web Development, Micro-Services Architecture, Container Architecture
- Experience with Big Data tools/frameworks (e.g. Spark, Hive, Hadoop, MapReduce, Kafka)
- Experience with Android and/or iOS mobile application development
- Experience with Unix and/or Linux Operating Systems
Responsibilities
- Apply knowledge of software development to manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications
- Support, debug, and provide solutions, engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches
- Work within a highly successful product development team within an agile, iterative process
- Solve enterprise-grade cloud services problems by writing code
- Engage in projects and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues and recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches
- Develop, debug, or design enterprise-class software applications
- Work with product code in all possible layers of complex multi-tier distributed environments
Other
- Must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year
- Must be enrolled in a university prior to and following internship completion
- Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026
- Must be able to read, write, and speak English
- Must be a student with 0 to 2+ years of experience
