Requirements
- proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in Java
- proficient (i.e., able to complete coding projects with no assistance) in one or more of these additional programming languages: Python, JavaScript, CSS, HTML, SQL, Scala
- demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with one or more of the following: Android and/or iOS mobile application development
- demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with one or more of the following: Unix and/or Linux Operating Systems
- demonstrated experience (projects, internships, coursework, research) with one or more of the following: Big Data tools/frame
Responsibilities
- manage software development tasks associated with developing, debugging, or designing enterprise-class software applications.
- support, debug, and provide solutions
- engage in programs and initiatives to analyze the root cause of issues
- recommend and evolve suitable solution approaches to address the challenges in a time-sensitive fashion.
- solving sophisticated problems by writing code.
- work in all possible layers of complex multi-tier distributed environments.
Other
- Must be enrolled in a Master's degree program in Computer Science or an equivalent science/engineering field during the 2025-2026 school year.
- Must be enrolled in a university prior to and following internship completion.
- Able to obtain work authorization in the US in 2026.
- Reside in the United States and/or attend a university in the US.
