ProSight Financial Association is seeking to empower financial services leaders by strengthening and advancing the industry through innovative applications and technology assets, and this role aims to support that goal by developing advanced data warehouse and Power BI solutions for external customer-facing consumption.
Requirements
- 7+ years in data warehouse / business intelligence space required.
- 7+ years SQL development required.
- 1+ years of on-the-job Azure Fabric experience required.
- Power BI embedded experience required.
- Custom Web Dashboard development experience required.
- SSIS experience preferred.
- Python and .NET skills would be highly preferred.
- Experience with Agile software development methodologies required
Responsibilities
- Utilize Azure Fabric and other interactive visualization tools to create compelling and intuitive user experiences for an external audience in custom and secure portals.
- Provide application development, support, and model building to be used for Analytics work by the research department.
- Utilize and set up Microsoft Azure Fabric environment and then educate others across the organization on Fabric tools use and advantages.
- Analyze data sources, aggregation tables, explore different levers within Fabric for performance improvements.
- Perform analysis, design, develop, and maintain systems and subsystems, as it pertains to back-end databases.
- Create data models, advanced SQL queries and Stored Procedures; update and/or create reports/dashboards.
- Work closely with business partners and stakeholders to determine and document business and functional requirements, translating those into detailed technical specifications and running code.

- 8+ years professional experience required.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States permanently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Needs to possess a strong analytical, quantitative and objective outlook.
- Excellent people skills are also necessary since this position may interact with all levels of resources across the entire organization.
