General Dynamics Mission Systems (GDMS) is looking for an Advanced Quality Engineer to oversee the production and test of high-assurance, mission-critical electronics hardware, ensuring quality assurance while working with Integrated Product Teams to manage the ongoing production build and test activities for complex circuit card assemblies and mission computers.
Requirements
- Demonstrate sophisticated problem-solving skills and technical manufacturing knowledge

- Knowledge, experience, and skills in the following areas: Mechanical or electrical engineering.
- Understanding Hardware Quality (mechanical, electro-mechanical and electronic assemblies) in an AS 9100 / ISO 9001 Manufacturing environment with a proven track-record of success.
- Configuration management industry standards and the effective implementation of as-built records, Acceptance Data Packages (ADP), and Change Control Board (CCB) documentation practices.
- Preparing and supporting the generation of complex proposals and contract reviews.
- Verifying that all details are accounted for in requirement analysis and flow down.
Responsibilities

Other
- 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience.
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is preferred at time of hire. Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance within a reasonable amount of time from date of hire.
