Honeywell is seeking to advance the field of GPS-denied navigation capabilities by developing new technologies.
Requirements
4+ years of experience performing research and development projects within a technology or manufacturing environment.
Strong background in areas such as navigation, robotics, estimation theory, mathematics, software, sensors, controls, or related fields.
Proven track record of technical research.
Proficiency in software tools such as C/C++, Python, Matlab, ROS, or similar.
Experience with Kalman filtering or other advanced estimation theory principles.
Proficiency with algorithm development including AI/ML algorithms.
Strong experience with Linux, ROS, OpenCV, and general AI/ML toolsets.
Responsibilities
Conduct research and development activities related to navigation.
Build, test, analyze, and iterate on GPS-denied navigation technologies through simulation, algorithm development, flight testing, and data analysis.
Lead ideation efforts to support the next big ideas in the field of navigation.
Other
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as the sciences, technology, engineering or mathematics
This role is eligible for a hybrid work mode, except for the first 90 days.
