AWS is growing rapidly, and they are looking for a Security Services Manager to join their expanding Infrastructure Operations team to drive operational security excellence within Data Centers.
Requirements
- Experience with physical security best practices which includes the application of physical security systems, investigation techniques and management of contract security guards
- 2+ years' experience with intrusion detection (alarm systems) and with video monitoring systems (CCTV).
- Experience with AWS, networks and operating systems
Responsibilities
- Configure physical security devices including cameras, readers, and panels.
- Support daily operational security across a data center campus
- Distill overarching security strategy into daily tactics to reach management goals
- Extract metrics and observe improvements by looking at hard data.
- Manage a chat queue, phone communications, generate and/or manage trouble tickets, handle incoming chats, and provide support to customers.
- Drive security awareness campaigns aimed at enhancing security vigilance and effectiveness
- Experience with workflow ticketing and extraction/development of performance metrics

- The ideal candidate will manage communications and provide services as required.

- The successful candidate must have a proven track record of customer service, possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and demonstrate good judgment and critical thinking.
- An ideal candidate for this role will be able to work at all levels, from the theoretical knowledge of physical security principles to the practical application and real-world implementation of processes and measures.
- You must have a proven record of accomplishment in operations room/center dispatching, data center security operations, physical security, customer service; and the ability to multi-task.
- 1+ years' experience in an operations center, control room environment, or technical support experience.
