General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking to solve technical challenges in the Space, Cyber, and Intelligence business area, specifically in Crypto and Cross Domain Solutions, by hiring a software engineer with expertise in software design, development, and testing.
Requirements
- Proficient in C/C++
- Experience with BASH, sed, awk
- Experience with Git
- Experience with Linux administration
- Experience with SELinux
- BONUS: Experience with GitLab
- BONUS: Experience with Information assurance, secure software development strategies and concepts
Responsibilities
- Lead the software development process
- Apply technical standards and methodologies to solve challenges in creative ways
- Provide technical leadership and position others for success
- Champion new ideas and process improvements
- Develop software using Linux application development experience
- Administer Linux systems
- Apply expertise in SELinux and Git
Other
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Bachelor’s degree in Software Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field
- 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 3 years of job-related experience
- Agile experience preferred
