General Dynamics Mission Systems is looking to solve the problem of maintaining and advancing DevOps infrastructures, providing day-to-day support of server services, and ensuring system security and compliance.
Requirements
- Knowledge of RedHat Linux, Windows Server, VMware vSphere, application environments and related technologies
- Knowledge and experience managing network equipment (Cisco and Palo Alto) a plus
- Proficient knowledge of software tools supporting Integrated Development Environments (IDE), version control, defect reporting and scripting
- Proficient with developer tools/concepts/scripting/methodologies/infrastructure - Jira, Confluence, GitLab, CI/CD, HELM, Docker, Docker Compose, Kubernetes, Kubernetes Manifests, Ansible, Vault, Python, Powershell, Bash
- Proficient with Tenable Nessus, Splunk
- Define and build different development, testing, and production environments
- Experience with implementing Linux/Windows security controls to maintain system compliance
Responsibilities
- Conducting systems analysis and development to keep systems current with changing technologies
- Maintaining and advancing DevOps infrastructures
- Installing new software, troubleshooting, and granting permissions to applications
- Performing server administration for physical and virtual server operating systems
- Configuring, maintaining, and troubleshooting physical and virtual hardware and network related interfaces on servers
- Performing OS and vendor software patching on servers
- Monitoring physical and virtual servers performance using monitoring tools
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related field or equivalent experience is required plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree plus 3 years of relevant experience
- Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire
- U.S. citizenship is required
- Applicant must meet DoD 8570.1 certification requirements for IAT-II or higher
- Must complete CompTIA Security+ certification minimum within 6 months of hire
