Claiborne Medical Center is looking to solve the problem of providing efficient food services to its patients and staff by hiring a Food Service Worker.
Requirements
- Knowledge of food preparation and serving procedures
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely
- Ability to maintain a clean and sanitary environment
- Ability to follow established procedures and policies
- Ability to use a menu system
- High school diploma or GED (preferred)
- Prior work experience in food service (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Performs ware washing duties according to established procedures ensuring quality service is provided.
- Prepares patient tray line for meal service periods and dispenses food for patient meal service.
- Prepares production according to menu, production sheets, or count sheets.
- Prepares items for modified diets as indicated, pre-dishing according to department procedures.
- Assemble late trays accurately, ensuring proper temperatures, and visual attractiveness.
- Operates equipment safely according to established procedures.
- Operates the menu system.
