NBCUniversal is looking to hire interns to contribute to their Advertising & Partnerships division, specifically in areas like Data Science, Business Intelligence, and Identity & Data Product. The goal is to leverage advanced analytics, data science principles, and data-driven insights to enhance advertising technology, optimize campaign performance, and manage data products.
Requirements
- Understanding data modeling, joins, and blending.
- Experience with BI tools (MicroStrategy, Tableau, Power BI, or Looker).
- Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, lookups) and PowerPoint.
- Proficiency in Python and PySpark for data analysis and pipeline development.
- Familiarity with SQL and Snowflake for data manipulation and querying.
- Exposure to cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, GCP) and tools like Databricks is a plus.
- Understanding data privacy concepts and clean room technologies is a bonus.
Responsibilities
- apply quantitative modeling, optimization, AI/ML to real word advertising challenges
- design and test algorithms that predict performance and maximize ROI
- develop and execute on comprehensive roadmaps leveraging best-in-class technology solutions, enabling access to crucial business insights via dashboards, reports, self-service modules, and 'data as a product'
- collection, standardization, and management of NBCUniversal’s owned and licensed data products and assets
- enable identity resolution, activation, monetization, and data collaboration through secure, privacy-centric methods and technologies
- build and provide scaled data assets and collaborative technologies needed to power our performance capabilities

- Must be actively enrolled in a degree-granting program at an accredited institution during the entire duration of the program. Spring 2026 graduates are not eligible for our Summer 2026 internship program.
- Current class standing of sophomore or above (30 credits).
- Must be presently authorized to work for any employer in the United States and must not require work visa sponsorship from NBCUniversal now or in the future to retain authorization to work in the United States.
- Must be available to work 40 hours per week from June 1 – August 7, 2026.
