The Industry & Energy Technology (IET) team provides industry-leading products and services that optimize the extraction, production, and processing of energy. They help customers across the value chain to reduce operating costs and improve productivity. The team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.
Requirements
- Solid background in supplier quality and continuous improvement in industrial or energy sectors
- Hands-on experience with supplier assessment methodologies and quality management systems.
Responsibilities
- Leading early-stage supplier evaluations, focusing on quality, organisational maturity, technical capabilities, and risk mitigation
- Supplier development: lead and manage technical assessments of new parts, supported by Design and Advanced Manufacturing Engineers.
- Supplier management: be responsible for supplier qualifications, continuous improvement plans, surveillance and audits.
- Communication: ensure a strong connection between suppliers and internal execution teams to support quality, on-time delivery and responsiveness.
Other
- Bachelor's mechanical degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 10 years of experience in Manufacturing/Service)
- At least 5 years of experience in Quality
- Be able to travel locally and internationally at short notice to Customer offices or site plants
- English fluent
