Decagon is looking to solve the problem of integrating their AI agents deeply into customer systems, workflows, and data to ensure the agents' success and deliver reliable business outcomes.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in integrations, solutions engineering, or backend/API-focused roles (ideally in B2B SaaS).
  • Strong technical skills with APIs, webhooks, and authentication standards (OAuth, SAML, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience integrating with platforms like Zendesk, Salesforce, or similar enterprise SaaS.
  • A track record of building integrations from scratch and making them production-ready.
  • Comfort balancing customer-specific problem solving with building towards scalable, reusable solutions.
  • Experience building SDKs, middleware, or reusable integration frameworks.
  • Familiarity with conversational AI, customer service automation, or agent deployments.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain integrations
  • Implement new integrations with customer systems and ensure existing ones remain reliable.
  • Productize repeatable patterns
  • Turn bespoke customer integrations into reusable, configurable solutions that accelerate future deployments.
  • Support deployments
  • Partner with Agent PMs during customer onboarding to scope, configure, and validate integrations
  • Contribute to roadmap
