Freddie Mac is seeking an expert Agile Development Senior Technical Lead to lead, design, develop, and implement various tool modernization projects to migrate on-premises solutions to cloud-native solutions, contributing to the company's 3-yr transformation roadmap.
Requirements
- Hands on experience in software engineering, agile methodologies, automation / IAC frameworks including familiarity with Rafay, Terraform, CFT, Ansible etc.
- Strong application architecture as well as application development background along with at least 3-5 years of experience with engineering and supporting containerization technology (Kubernetes, AWS(ECS/EKS) etc.)
- Experience with scripting tools (Python, Perl, Shell scripting etc.) to automate routine operation tasks
- Familiarity with AI/ML services including AWS bedrock, Sagemaker would be ideal
- 10 + years of experience in Information technology in designing, engineering and managing enterprise grade solutions
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
Responsibilities
- Collaborate on projects with architecture, strategy and Information security teams to design and implement application services in alignment with application patterns
- Participate in design reviews of architecture & design patterns for service/application deployment to cloud (AWS)
- Collaborate across SMGO division to lead & build-out components for various tools and technologies
- Deliver and maintain standard operating procedures and assist in solving issues
- Help establish SRE model to transform current operator skilled staff to developers / engineers
- Mentor junior members in the operations team and engineering teams
- Help coordinate project deployments with other engineers and make schedule recommendations
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Engineering, Computer Science, related field or equivalent experience; advanced studies/degree preferred
