Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy utilizing approaches of various AI technologies and methods to address clients' business problems and needs while complying with Booz Allen’s strategies, business goals, and key ethical considerations
Requirements
- 1+ years of experience working with algorithms, advanced data structures, databases, machine learning models, ETL processes, or MLOps
- Knowledge of data formats such as JSON, Parquet, Avro, or CSV
- Ability to work with Dataframes and SQL utilizing Spark, PySpark, Python Pandas, or Polars
- Experience working in a team environment for Git, GitLab, or GitHub
- Experience scaling data engineering across distributed computing clusters, including Apache Spark, Nifi, Dask, Airflow, or Luigi
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL database technologies such as Elasticsearch, Solr, HBase, Accumulo, Cassandra, Weaviate, ChromaDB, Pinecone, DuckDB, Neo4j, AWS DynamoDB, Redshift, Aurora, Oracle, PostgreSQL, MSSQL, MySQL, or MongoDB
- AWS or Google Certification such as Data Analytics, Machine Learning Engineer, or Solutions Architect Certifications
Responsibilities
- Design and implement effective AI solution architecture or strategy
- Apply specific functional knowledge and working or general industry knowledge
- Develop or contribute to solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope and complexity
- Work independently with some guidance
- May review or guide activities of more junior employees
- Report findings and research clearly and concisely for clients
- Utilize Spark, PySpark, Python Pandas, or Polars to work with Dataframes and SQL
Other
- Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in a Computer Science or Computer Engineering field and 2+ years of experience engineering code in an object-oriented language
- Master’s degree in Data Science, AI or ML Engineering, or Computer Science and 1+ years of experience engineering code in an object-oriented language
- DoD 8140 IAT Level II Certification such as CompTIA Security+ or ISC2 CISSP Certification
- Ability to be on camera during interviews and assessments
