WilmerHale is looking to improve legal workflows by leveraging automated and AI-based solutions, and the Automation Engineer will play a key role in designing, implementing, and maintaining these solutions to drive innovation and efficiency.

Requirements

  • Proficiency with Microsoft O365 applications and Microsoft Copilot Studio Power Apps and AI agents)
  • Strong technical background with a focus on workflow automation and process improvement.
  • Experience in process automation, scripting, and workflow design, and automation tools (Copilot studio: Power Automate, PowerApps, SharePoint, PowerBI)
  • Knowledge of machine learning and artificial intelligence concepts.
  • Experience with Microsoft Studio ecosystem
  • Strong analysis, planning, organizing and time management skills
  • Experience with workflow and process improvement methodology and technology solution

Responsibilities

  • Engage with stakeholders to proactively identify process improvement opportunities, gather requirements, design and deliver solutions that align with customer needs.
  • Review, analyze, and model business processes and information flows to identify inefficiencies and areas for improvement.
  • Propose solutions (including automation and use of AI); identifying alignment with business requirements; making recommendations.
  • Responsible to document process change requirements using the agreed standards, methods, and tools ensuring consistent high-quality output.
  • Responsible for the design and implementation automated solutions using Microsoft Studio ecosystem.
  • Integrate automation solutions with existing software systems and databases.
  • Provide technical oversight and review of work from junior team members

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree
  • 3-5 years’ application design, development, and support experience.
  • Strong attention to detail and an ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and work under deadlines.
  • Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with both users and technical staff in team-oriented environments.
