KSM is seeking a motivated and curious college student to join our AI & Automation team as a Summer Intern. This hands-on role offers a unique opportunity to work at the intersection of artificial intelligence, process automation, and data-driven business transformation.
Requirements
- Understanding of linear algebra and calculus (I, II, and III)
- Demonstrated understanding of Probability or Optimization Principles gained through formal coursework or rigorous technical/laboratory courses
- Familiarity with one or more programming languages such as Python, R, or other related languages.
- Exposure to or interest in AI/ML concepts, data analytics, or automation tools (e.g., Power Automate, UiPath, or similar).
- Experience with data visualization or statistical modeling.
- Familiarity with cloud environments such as Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud.
- Coursework or project work involving AI, robotics, or simulation.
Responsibilities
- Assist in the design, development, and testing of AI models and automation workflows.
- Support the implementation of machine learning, natural language processing, and process automation projects.
- Analyze datasets to identify automation opportunities and optimize performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business challenges and translate them into technical solutions.
- Document workflows, data pipelines, and outcomes for ongoing improvements.
- Participate in innovation discussions and proof-of-concept experiments.

- Completed sophomore year of college or higher.
- Pursuing a degree in Mathematics, Physics, Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related quantitative discipline.
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
- Excellent communication skills and an eagerness to learn in a collaborative environment.
