GDIT is looking to solve the problem of enhancing cybersecurity for its government clients by integrating AI technologies. This involves developing and implementing AI-driven defense mechanisms, securing AI systems themselves, and staying ahead of emerging generative AI security threats.
Requirements
- Proficiency in CrowdStrike, Qualys, Splunk/SOAR, AI, and machine learning in cybersecurity
- Deep understanding of AI/ML concepts, machine learning models, and adversarial attacks.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Go, or Java.
- Strong knowledge of cloud security across major platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), including container security and secure DevOps practices.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML frameworks
- Vulnerability & Compliance Management experience (Qualys experience preferred)
- Endpoint Detection and Response experience (CrowdStrike experience preferred)
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to integrate AI technologies in cybersecurity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement AI-driven defense mechanisms.
- Drive innovation in cybersecurity operations by leveraging machine learning and AI models.
- Utilize specialized tools like CrowdStrike, Qualys, and Splunk/SOAR to enhance security operations and automate threat detection and response.
- Lead the strategy for securing AI systems, including large language models (LLMs) and agentic AI platforms, against adversarial attacks, prompt injection, and data leakage.
- Design, develop, and optimize AI and machine learning algorithms to enhance threat detection, prediction, and prevention capabilities.
- Stay current with emerging generative AI security threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques. Drive research and innovation in defensive AI technologies.

- Education: Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science
- Experience: 8+ years of related experience
- Certification qualifying for IAT Level II or ability to obtain within 90 days of hire
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and teamwork abilities
- Preferred Security Clearance Level: Ability to Obtain a Top Secret Clearance is preferred
