Fayetteville Public Works Commission is seeking to design, implement, and maintain scalable data infrastructure to support advanced analytics, AI, and machine learning initiatives.
Requirements
- Proficiency in SQL, Python, and PySpark
- Experience with data pipeline development and AI/ML applications
- Knowledge of data warehousing, data lake architecture, and Oracle Fusion Analytics
- Familiarity with machine learning, AI, and Generative AI technologies
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure AI Foundations Associate certification
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Developer Professional certification
- Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Data Science Professional certification
Responsibilities
- Develop business intelligence dashboards, reports, and visualizations
- Create and optimize data models for analytics and reporting
- Build and maintain scalable data pipelines, data lakes, and data warehouses
- Design and implement AI/ML models for predictive analytics and decision-making
- Support deployment of BI tools such as Oracle Analytics Cloud and BI Publisher
- Conduct data validation, performance tuning, and troubleshooting
- Implement CI/CD pipelines and contribute to data governance and metadata management
Other
- Graduation from an accredited university or college with a degree in business, technology, data management, or a related field and/or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience
- 1–3+ years of relevant experience in AI & Data Engineer
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional environment
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer
- No significant lifting (>15 lbs)
