TerraPower is seeking to hire highly motivated and forward-thinking professionals to focus on advanced nuclear reactor research and development, influencing change within the nuclear power landscape and bringing forward the critical production of medical isotopes.
Requirements
- Strong foundational knowledge of software development principles and object-oriented programming.
- Hands-on experience or coursework with: React (frontend development), Python (AI or backend scripting), C-Sharp (application logic and services), GitHub (version control and collaboration)
- Familiarity with API integration, cloud-based development, or chatbot frameworks is a plus.
- Experience with ChatGPT-based AI models and applied AI in enterprise environments.
- Knowledge of SDLC best practices.
- Experience with agile software development lifecycle.
- Experience with version control using GitHub.
Responsibilities
- Support the design, development, and implementation of internal AI agents and chatbot enhancements.
- Collaborate with AI engineers and software developers to define agent functionality, APIs, and integrations.
- Write clean, maintainable code using React, Python, and C-Sharp, following established coding and SDLC standards.
- Participate in code reviews, version control, and documentation using GitHub.
- Assist in testing, debugging, and deploying AI models and supporting services.
- Work with the project management team to ensure timely and quality delivery of features in an agile sprint cycle.
- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts and internal development best practices.

- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Self-motivated with a strong interest in AI-driven software solutions.
- Ability to safely lift up to 25 pounds.
