Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML with demonstrable career progression from individual contributor to technical leadership roles
- 8+ years solid and current programming skills in Python or other relevant programming languages
- 8+ years of hands-on experience with machine learning libraries and frameworks
- 6+ years public cloud experience (Azure, and/or GCP, and/or AWS)
- Current and extensive hands-on experience with modern AI tools, frameworks, and methodologies
- Experience with ethical and regulatory considerations in data science and willingness to apply them in practice
- Experience in Risk adjustment programs
Responsibilities
- Drives excellence and standardization across the data science team with a focus on consistency, efficiency, and scalability of AI/ML solutions.
- Take primary ownership of the suite of data science and AI assets built within the team, ensuring proper governance, monitoring, and alignment with departmental standards and organizational, legal, and compliance requirements
- Take primary ownership of the pipeline of data science solutions assigned to the team - ensuring consistent use of tooling and processes across the team.
- Identify opportunities to leverage AI/machine learning to improve business outcomes
- Aligns team skills and capabilities with business priorities to maximize impact
- Provide strategic and technical direction aligned to analytic efforts around AI/ML
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to help identify opportunities for optimization and strategic growth

- 8+ years of experience in AI/ML with demonstrable career progression from individual contributor to technical leadership roles
- Extensive experience working within technical and business professionals in a corporate matrix management environment, managing multiple priorities, driving AI strategies and delivering business impact
- Demonstrated ability to communicate technical results to a diverse audience, with a connection back to the business objectives and outcomes
