Brunswick is seeking a Director to lead its AI Center of Competency to accelerate AI adoption, shape enterprise-wide AI strategy, and deliver impactful AI solutions across the organization.
Requirements
- 8+ years’ experience in advanced data analytics & Machine learning , with 2+ years in leadership roles driving enterprise AI or advanced data analytics strategy with a passion for ethical AI, innovation, and building scalable, human-centric AI systems.
- Proven experience leading AI Centers of Excellence or similar innovation hubs.
- Deep technical expertise in technologies (LLMs, RAG designs, multi-agent systems, vector databases, prompt engineering) including familiarity with Azure AI foundry, AI regulatory frameworks and compliance standards.
- Strong understanding of AI/ML solution design, cloud security, MLOps, and enterprise architecture, as well as experience with cloud-native AI platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP).
Responsibilities
- Lead Brunswick Enterprise AI Center of Competency, setting strategic direction and operational models to drive enterprise-wide AI transformation.
- Define and execute AI roadmaps aligned with business goals, delivering measurable value across functional domains.
- Build and scale AI accelerators, reusable assets, and solution frameworks to speed up adoption and delivery.
- Champion the development and deployment of AI/ML solutions including: GenAI product development and agentic system design, Computer vision and ML-based defect detection, SharePoint-to-vector pipelines and RAG architectures, and multi-agent virtual assistants for CX and operational transformation.
- Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to assess the effectiveness and ROI of AI implementations.
- Oversee AI projects, ensuring alignment with business goals and managing timelines and resources effectively.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful project delivery.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in business (or Management), Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline, or equivalent work experience is required; a master’s degree (or equivalent) in a computational field is highly desired.
- Exceptional communication and stakeholder management skills, including executive-level engagement.
- Partner with HR to enhance AI understanding across the organization through targeted training and change management programs.
