Cognizant is hiring an Agentic & Gen AI Architect to design and implement next-generation AI ecosystems for major enterprise clients, shaping how Fortune 500 organisations adopt Generative AI and agent-based systems at scale.
Requirements
- Expertise in SFT, RLHF, LoRA/QLoRA, RAG and model evaluation
- Certifications in at least two major clouds (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Deep MLOps/LLMOps knowledge, including compliance and observability
- Publications, patents or open-source work in agentic systems or LLMOps
- Experience with AgentOps and advanced evaluation/observability tooling
Responsibilities
- Architect modular, cloud-native AI platforms using LLMs, SLMs, and multi-agent orchestration
- Lead model development end-to-end: data prep, training, SFT, RLHF, LoRA, deployment, optimisation
- Build enterprise CI/CD, observability, monitoring and governance for AI & agent lifecycles
- Collaborate with AWS, Azure, GCP, ISVs and startups on co-development of AI offerings
- Deliver verticalised AI solutions across banking, healthcare, retail, manufacturing, and more
- Represent Cognizant in whitepapers, patents, roundtables and industry events
Other
- 15+ years in IT/architecture with hands-on engineering experience
- 5+ years in AI/ML, including Generative & Agentic AI
- Lead executive-level engagements, defining AI strategy, roadmaps and investment priorities
- Hire, mentor and grow cross-functional AI teams; lead capability squads
- C-suite advisory experience and leading strategic AI transformations
- Strong leadership background building high-performing AI teams
- Industry depth in sectors like financial services, healthcare or energy
- Thought leadership at conferences or in media
