Lummus Technology is looking to utilize AI within the company to empower business units and fundamentally transform how the company operates, augmenting people and freeing them from repetitive work to focus on high-value, creative problem-solving.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Python and its data science ecosystem (Pandas, NumPy, others).
- Experience with ML frameworks such as PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Experience supporting modern GenAI stacks.
Responsibilities
- Analyze the core challenges of the business units and help translate those needs into technical specifications for AI solutions.
- Build and deploy a wide range of machine learning and generative AI models to solve complex problems.
- Support and maintain the data pipelines required for our AI systems, ensuring data quality and readiness for model training and inference.
- Build out AI solutions and assist in the integration of AI models into existing Lummus business applications and workflows using APIs and other services to create seamless user experiences.
- Fine-tune and maintain large language models (LLMs) and vision models on our proprietary data, with a focus on performance, accuracy, and IP security.
- Support the full lifecycle of AI applications, from initial coding, prototyping, and experimentation to deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement.
- Foster innovation by researching new techniques and technologies to stay at the forefront of the rapidly evolving AI landscape.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering or other engineering discipline, Mathematics, Data Science, or a relevant field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in computer or software engineering.
