Koniag Management Solutions is seeking an AI Engineer to support the development and deployment of cutting-edge artificial intelligence solutions for the government at Fort Greg Adams, VA
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of hands-on experience with the Microsoft Azure cloud platform
- Proven experience deploying and managing generative AI applications in production environments
- Strong understanding of large language models (LLMs) and prompt engineering techniques
- Solid foundation in machine learning algorithms, including supervised and unsupervised learning
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, scikit-learn, or similar)
- Experience with Azure AI services (Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, Cognitive Services)
- Knowledge of MLOps practices and tools for model deployment and monitoring
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy generative AI applications using large language models (LLMs) and other foundation models
- Build and maintain AI/ML solutions on the Microsoft Azure platform, leveraging Azure OpenAI Service, Azure Machine Learning, and related services
- Develop end-to-end machine learning pipelines from data preparation through model deployment and monitoring
- Implement prompt engineering strategies and fine-tuning techniques for generative AI applications
- Create scalable and reliable AI application architectures with proper error handling, monitoring, and observability
- Optimize model performance, latency, and cost-efficiency for production environments
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and product managers

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, Engineering, or related field
- Strong problem-solving and analytical thinking abilities
