TENICA is looking to hire an AI Engineer to support the development of AI Policy and capabilities within the Intelligence Community (IC). The role involves creating AI Policy based on experience and real-world considerations, serving as a senior technical advisor and subject matter expert (SME) to facilitate stakeholder decision-making, policy, and governance pertaining to current and emerging AI technologies.

Responsibilities
- Provide senior technical advisory support to project teams and stakeholders, ensuring best practices in AI policy development and governance.
- Collaborate with IC partners and senior leadership to develop and refine AI policies, ensuring alignment with the organization’s goals and national security objectives.
- Serve as the SME on AI technologies, including AI architecture, development, ethics, policy, and legal aspects of AI and emerging technologies.
- Translate highly technical AI concepts into comprehensive policy and governance documents.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, recommend necessary improvements, and proactively contribute to the achievement of the customer’s vision.
- Conduct trend analyses and provide insights on current and emerging AI technologies to inform policy and governance decisions.
- Create high-level and highly technical documents on AI policy and governance, ensuring clarity and comprehensiveness.

- Must have active TS/SCI with CI poly.
- Associate’s degree with 8+ years, Bachelor’s with 6+ years, Master’s with 4+ years, or PhD with 2+ years experience required.
- Engage and collaborate with various IC partners, including non-DoD IC elements, to facilitate information sharing and policy development.
