At Lowe’s, the business problem is to develop an advanced artificial intelligence (AI) solution, assisting with various machine learning (ML) models, including deep learning (DL) frameworks and large language models (LLMs), to optimize model performance and support AI solutions.

Requirements

  • Proficient in MS Office Programs (specifically Word, Excel, and Power Point)
  • Intent to pursue a bachelor’s degree in AI, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Science, Technology, Engineering, Math, or related
  • Relevant internship and experience is a plus, as is experience in a leadership position at work or within a campus organization

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and maintenance of an AI platform, ensuring it meets functional requirements and performance standards.
  • Participate in the full lifecycle of AI platform development from ideation and prototyping to testing, deployment, and monitoring.
  • Contribute to the integration of AI capabilities into products and platforms, helping ensure smooth implementation and functionality.
  • Engage in peer code reviews, learn directly from senior AI engineers, and follow established best practices in AI development.
  • Stay current on the latest AI technologies and frameworks, suggesting incremental improvements to enhance existing systems.
  • Support the implementation of security and compliance measures in AI development, ensuring alignment with company policies and industry standards.
