Design and development of novel AI/ML solutions using large language models and agentic frameworks to address business use cases for Citi.

Requirements

  • Hands-on experience with developing AI system(s) for real-world use cases(s).
  • Knowledge of GenAI services on GCP, AWS or Azure.
  • Understanding of platform architecture, high availability, fail-over, disaster recovery planning, and implementation considerations based on service level agreements.
  • Working knowledge of container technologies, Kubernetes, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), and CI/CD.
  • Strong understanding of private and public cloud technologies, architectures, and network designs and working experience of one of the major public cloud service providers – AWS, GCP, or Azure.
  • Experience working with AL/ML algorithms, LLM inferencing and fine-tuning, vector stores, etc. using Python, Java, or similar programming language(s).

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and operate AI solutions including but not limited to inference, Retrieval-augmented Generation (RAG), similarity search, guardrails, evaluation, and observability.
  • Leverage open source and commercial large language model (LLM) and SaaS/PaaS technologies such as Llama, Gemini, Vertex AI, OpenAI etc. to build AI solutions.
  • Introduce optimization techniques to improve performance, scalability, latency and throughput of largescale AI systems.
  • Contribute towards driving strategy and roadmap for evolving Citi’s AI ecosystem.
  • Stay abreast with industry trends and advancements in AI technologies including GenAI and apply them to build cutting edge solutions.
  • help enable AI application hosting in environments on-premises, on public cloud platforms, or as hybrid deployments.

Other

  • Bachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferred
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Capable of presenting new ideas to technical and non-technical audience.
  • Experience managing vendor interactions for troubleshooting sessions, enhancement requests, and guiding vendor roadmaps to meet Citi standards and functional requirements.
  • Self-starter and a good team player who could work in a global team of members with diverse skills.
