Ingersoll Rand is looking to identify and develop future engineering talent through its Future Force Early Talent Development Program, specifically focusing on Computer Science and Engineering roles. The program aims to provide challenging assignments and hands-on experience to prepare interns for potential permanent positions within the company, leveraging emerging technologies like AI to create organizational efficiencies.
Requirements
- Strong emphasis on Artificial Intelligence (AI) and/or Cybersecurity.
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing AI models and algorithms
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies : machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP and deploy them in the organization while ensuring business case for the investments are delivered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into product development.
- Analyze large datasets to improve model performance.
- Support development of AI prototypes and proof-of-concept applications .
- Ensure ethical AI practices and data privacy compliance .
Responsibilities
- Assist in designing, developing, and testing AI models and algorithms
- Understand the business model of the SBU and develop recommendations for utilizing AI to create efficiencies in the organization using AI tools .
- Conduct research on emerging AI technologies : machine learning, deep learning, computer vision, NLP and deploy them in the organization while ensuring business case for the investments are delivered
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into product development.
- Analyze large datasets to improve model performance.
- Support development of AI prototypes and proof-of-concept applications .
- Document and present technical findings.
Other
- Pursuing a BS/BA in Computer Science Engineering .
- Minimum 3.5 GPA at the time of application.
- Participate in two internship terms (preferably summer of junior and senior years).
- Commit to 3 months minimum per internship.
- Based on evaluations, transition into a permanent role within the company.
