Sutter Health is looking to design, build, and maintain production data pipelines and dashboards to measure the safety, effectiveness, and equity of AI-enabled products
Requirements
- Advanced knowledge of BI tools such as Microstrategy and Tableau
- Advanced knowledge of database programming and statistics
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Access, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
- Expert knowledge of Structured Query Language (SQL) Server Reporting Service or other BI applications
- Deep knowledge of Epic’s data model and healthcare quality metrics
- Python programming skills
- Experience with Databricks or comparable lakehouse/ETL environments
Responsibilities
- Write complex SQL across Epic Clarity/Caboodle and other clinical, operational, and vendor datasets
- Engineer scalable data flows in Databricks (or comparable lakehouse/ETL environments)
- Develop interactive visualizations in approved BI platforms
- Automate monitoring and data-quality checks (Python preferred)
- Convert risk-monitoring requirements into reliable, auditable KPIs and evidence for clinical and executive stakeholders
- Design, build, and maintain production data pipelines and dashboards
- Work closely with AI governance analysts, data scientists and program managers
Other
- Bachelor's in Applied Statistics, Computer Analytics, Computer or related field
- 5 years recent relevant experience
- Verbal and writing skills to effectively communicate with diverse groups
- Ability to set priorities and manage multiple tasks
- Ability to analyze information and identify relevant concerns and factors
- Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma
