Nightly is building a new category of live experience where music, belonging, and impact collide. They are looking for an AI Intern to help them design the emotional layer of live events by building and experimenting with tools that understand crowds, generate media, and connect people.
Requirements
- Strong Python skills; comfort with AI frameworks (OpenAI API or similar).
- Portfolio or side projects involving generative media, ML, or music tech.
Responsibilities
- Prototype creative AI tools for live-event use: real-time emotion detection, recap-generation, crowd-energy visualization, or personalized fan storytelling.
- Work with our media team to experiment with AI-driven audio, lighting, and visual cues that heighten emotional flow during shows.
- Build internal automations that make production smarter- AI-assisted clip editors, caption generators, or “emotion maps” from crowd footage.
- Collaborate with event ops to test small-scale emotional-tech experiments at real shows.
- Assist in designing and later helping the Nightly AI Hackathon , helping recruit teams, design challenge prompts, and evaluate submissions.
- Document findings, run experiments, and present creative demos that push boundaries of event tech.
