Panasonic AI Lab team is focused on research and development of advanced AI technologies and is looking for a PhD graduate student or recent graduate to join their team as an intern to perform research on advanced AI technologies.
Requirements
- Strong technical background in the selected AI field.
- Background in AI model efficiency optimization, compression and quantization.
- Knowledge of common ML frameworks and model development flow.
Responsibilities
- Work with the internal AI lab project lead on the selected topic.
- Collaborate with PhD supervisor and other university collaborators.
- Report the weekly progress regarding the conducted project to all peers
- Accomplish writing code, performing experiments and preparing conference paper for submission
Other
- Must be currently pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree throughout the entirety of the internship.
- Strong verbal communication skills to effectively interact with collaborators and team members.
- Proficient written communication skills for internal documentation and reporting.
- Eager to learn and adapt to new challenges.
- This position may include a visit to internal/external collaborators or to present the accepted work at a conference.
