SAIC is seeking an AI Machine Learning Engineer to help transition to new Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, modernizing current collection processes for the Customer's collection mechanisms.
Requirements
- Demonstrated experience with the ability to understand and automate customer workflows and business processes with AI solutions.
- Demonstrated experience in data structures, data modeling, and software architecture.
- Demonstrated, in-depth experience and knowledge of machine learning tools and frameworks such as PyTorch, and Tensorflow.
- Extensive math and computer science skills, with a deep understanding of probability, statistics, and algorithms.
- Ability to program in AI/ML specific languages, such as Python, Java, C++, and Conda.
- Experience training AI models, as well as in integrating pre-trained models into dataflows and software architectures.
- In-depth knowledge of implementing ETL (Enhance/Transform/Load) pipeline.
Responsibilities
- Train machine learning models in a variety of ways, to meet a variety of functions, including but not limited to synthesis of code to be used for automated webscrapes.
- Provide Model training based on training data that may need to be acquired from other components.
- Create complete AI-based systems, which may include multiple inputs, models, human-review processes and outputs ETL processes and databases.
- Provide Productization and development of AI-bases systems for use as part of collection mechanisms.
- Research AL/ML technologies in open source to ensure that applicable cutting edge technologies and capabilities are being brought to bear on Sponsor efforts.
- Frame and scale data problems to effectively analyze, visualize and find data solutions.
- Develop and support scalable and secure functionality into software applications, focusing on integrating and implementing Artificial Intelligence (AI) algorithms and logic into the deliverables of an IT project.

- Active TS/SCI with polygraph.
- Bachelors in computer science, information systems, or a related field and 9 years or more experience; Masters and 7 years or more experience ; PhD or JD and 4 years or more experience.
- Ability to work with highly sensitive data sets.
- Experience implementing secure AI solutions in the Intelligence Community.
- In-depth knowledge of implementing solutions in Amazon Web Services.
