Nokia is looking to develop ML training procedures for interference detection and characterization AI models to advance connectivity and secure a brighter world.
Requirements
- Familiarity with AI/ML toolkits and data-driven problem-solving.
- Understanding of AI model evaluation methods (e.g., confusion matrix, accuracy, precision, recall ).
- Strong analytical mindset and ability to interpret performance metrics.
Responsibilities
- Develop ML training procedures for interference detection and characterization AI models.
- Train an existing AI model using labeled ML data on a Near-RT RAN Intelligent Controller in a Nokia system test lab.
- Perform RF signal injection and evaluate AI model accuracy using established metrics.
- Document ML training, testing, and evaluation steps for future use by Nokia teams.
- Present project results, challenges, and accomplishments to Nokia Architecture Team leads at the conclusion of the internship.

- U.S. Citizenship is required for this role.
- Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Engineering- Computer science or Data Science in an accredited university in the U.S.
