Cisco is looking to build foundational/domain-specific language models (LLMs) in the Cisco context, with an initial use case of security assessment and future scope of broader business applications across Cisco.
Requirements
- Formal background in Computer Science
- Experience with building LLMs (small, medium, or large)
- Understanding of foundational aspects is key
- Hands-on experience with language models
- Good understanding of computer science fundamentals
- Familiarity with AI and machine learning concepts
- Experience with programming languages and software development
Responsibilities
- Create Cisco-specific language models (LLMs)
- Build foundational/domain-specific LLMs in the Cisco context
- Hands-on role with 100% technical focus
- Experience with building LLMs (small, medium, or large)
- Understanding of foundational aspects is key
- Hands-on coding and review of assignment
- Collaboration with local team for strong collaboration
Other
- Onsite availability in San Jose (ideally 3 days/week)
- Onshore strongly preferred (San Jose commute)
- Offshore acceptable fallback if no good onshore candidates
- Junior to mid-level practitioners
- No management responsibilities
