i3 is seeking an AI/ML Technical Support Engineer to support an Army contract by providing technical assistance and operational support to AI/ML researchers and engineers, ensuring the smooth operation and optimal performance of the AI development environment, with an emphasis on the PyTorch framework.
Requirements
- Familiarity with the Python ecosystem, including conda-forge, and experience working with PyTorch and LLMs.
- Familiarity with Virtualization and containerization technologies such as podman.
- Familiarity with code scanning and software assurance tools (e.g., Fortify, SWAT) is essential.
- Solid understanding of Python programming.
- Experience with Linux/Unix environments and command-line tools.
- Knowledgeable of zero trust principles.
- DoD RMF experience.
Responsibilities
- Provide expert technical support and troubleshooting for our AI/ML development environment, with a deep understanding of PyTorch.
- Assist in the setup, configuration, and maintenance of AI/ML development tools and platforms, including those leveraging Ollama, StarCoder, and Cody AI.
- Develop and maintain documentation for common issues, best practices, and standard operating procedures.
- Play a key role in our software assurance efforts by utilizing tools such as Fortify or SwA (Software Assurance Tool) to scan code and identify potential vulnerabilities or quality issues.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our development workflows and tooling.
- Use tools like ARMY Software Assurance Tool and Fortify to scan software packages and builds
- Configuration management and system administration for the systems and resources needed to implement new solutions.

- This position is expected to be performed fully onsite in Huntsville, AL.
- Collaborate closely with AI/ML engineers to understand their needs and provide timely solutions to technical challenges.

- Analytical troubleshooting skills.
- Active Secret clearance required. Must be able to maintain the security clearance required for this position.
