Mortenson's AI Operations Engineer ensures operational excellence and scalability of Mortenson’s AI platforms and deployed models, critical to the company's 2026 priorities: AI readiness, governed delivery, and enterprise-scale adoption.
Requirements
- 3+ years in AI/ML operations, DevOps, or platform engineering
- Hands-on experience with CI/CD tools, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and cloud platforms (Azure preferred)
- Strong understanding of MLOps practices and model lifecycle management
- Experience in AEC/construction technology environments
- Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric and enterprise data integration
- Knowledge of AI governance frameworks and security best practices
Responsibilities
- Maintain AI platforms and deployed models to ensure 99.9% uptime and rapid recovery.
- Monitor system health, performance, and security compliance across environments.
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines for AI models and services.
- Automate deployments and rollback processes to minimize downtime and manual intervention.
- Streamline operational workflows for speed and scalability.
- Ensure adherence to Mortenson’s AI governance standards (privacy, security, ethical use).
- Implement monitoring and audit controls for compliance and risk mitigation.
