Descript is looking to transition its structure and workflow to effectively utilize current and forthcoming AI tools, improving operational efficiency and output quality.

Requirements

  • Hands-on builder with modern AI tooling: LLMs, chatbots, vibecoding stacks, agent frameworks, vector DBs, n8n or similar workflow orchestrators; comfortable writing prompts and low-code automations.
  • Prior product management experience and strong product sense (nice to have).
  • Experience with strategy consulting, operations, product management, or biz-ops within high-growth SaaS.
  • Track record of driving tech-enabled operating-model shifts.
  • Familiarity with emerging agent frameworks and best practices in vibecoding, n8n, and similar toolchains.

Responsibilities

  • Embed deeply with functions to map workflows, latency points, and resource spend, and identify opportunities for AI to help us move faster and leaner.
  • Prototype and deploy agentic workflows (e.g., agent-built content generation, n8n-orchestrated campaign ops, FP&A scenario modeling) that compress cycle time and improve output quality.
  • Recommend structure, skill mix, and tooling that maximize velocity and clarity.
  • Serve as internal evangelist for AI adoption; stay ahead of emerging agent frameworks and best practices in vibecoding, n8n, and similar toolchains; run workshops and create reusable playbooks.
  • Lead high-leverage initiatives for the CEO that require analytical rigor and cross-functional orchestration.
