As an AI Product Engineering Intern at Speak, you’ll contribute directly to building the future of language learning by creating innovative, AI-powered product experiences. You’ll work hands-on with cutting-edge Language Learning Models (LLMs) to help millions of users worldwide become fluent faster.
Requirements
- Strong foundation in computer science and software engineering (experience with React, Node, TypeScript, and/or Python is a plus).
- Curiosity and excitement about LLMs, with some prior exposure through projects, coursework, or personal exploration.
Responsibilities
- Building and shipping features
- Contribute to the development of LLM-powered experiences such as conversational onboarding, grammar assessment and feedback, and personalized lessons.
- Experimenting with AI models
- Test prompts, evaluate model performance, and help refine systems that make learning feel natural and effective.
- Collaborating across teams
- Work with Engineering, Applied ML, Product, Design, and Content to bring new features from idea to launch.
