SimpliSafe is seeking a Principal Product Manager to lead critical AI initiatives and drive significant impact in the home security space.
Requirements
- 8+ years of proven experience as a Product Manager, with a focus on AI and machine learning products
- Strong technical background and understanding of machine learning algorithms, AI techniques, and data science principles
- Experience with building and testing AI-powered apps or features using various computer vision models in the cloud and edge
- Demonstrated use of AI tools to improve efficiency and automate tasks, for example, using LLMs
- Understanding of data dependencies and collaboration across teams to access necessary data for AI solutions
- Experience with data privacy regulations
- Familiarity with Large Language Models (LLM) and Vision Language Model (VLM) capabilities
Responsibilities
- Define and articulate the product vision, strategy, and roadmap for AI and machine learning products
- Lead the end-to-end AI product development lifecycle, from concept to launch
- Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor products, especially in generative AI
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive the development and launch of high-quality AI products
- Work closely with technical teams to understand the feasibility and limitations of proposed AI solutions
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) and metrics to measure the success of AI products
- Develop and implement testing strategies that involve customers early in the development process
