The company is looking to leverage AI to transform learning in the K-12 EdTech space, aiming to personalize education, provide intelligent guidance, and achieve measurable outcomes through AI-driven features and tools.

Requirements

  • 2+ years in SaaS or AI/ML
  • Strong understanding of the K-12 marketplace and emerging AI trends (EdTech experience highly preferred).
  • Proven track record delivering generative AI features such as natural language interfaces, classroom copilots, or AI content tools.
  • Working knowledge of LLMs, prompt design, RAG pipelines, human-in-the-loop systems, evaluation metrics, and responsible AI practices.
  • Skilled in product discovery, user research, and hypothesis-driven prioritization.
  • Proficiency with Agile tools (Jira, Confluence, Figma) and product documentation that drives clarity and action.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication – able to translate complex AI concepts for educators and educational nuances for engineers.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full lifecycle of AI-driven features and tools – from discovery and design through launch and rapid iteration.
  • Translate educator and student needs into solutions powered by generative AI that drive personalization, intelligent guidance, and measurable outcomes.
  • Define and maintain an AI product roadmap that balances bold innovation with responsible AI principles.
  • Write clear, actionable requirements (epics, user stories, acceptance criteria) spanning UI/UX, data inputs, LLM prompts, evaluation criteria, and safety considerations.
  • Partner with engineering, ML/AI, and platform teams to design, integrate, and test AI capabilities – from LLM-based assistants to adaptive learning flows and content generation tools.
  • Stay ahead of developments in LLMs, prompt engineering, fine-tuning, evaluation frameworks, and educational AI policy – serving as the team’s radar for what’s next.
  • Continuously improve product management practices while keeping processes lightweight and impact-focused.

Other

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Product Management, Education, Business, or related field, and at least 3 years of product management experience; or equivalent education and experience.
  • Advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., AI Product Management, Agile, LPM) are a plus.
  • Collaborate with curriculum, services, and customer success teams to ensure AI features enhance instructional integrity in classrooms.
  • Support release planning and go-to-market activities, including enablement, documentation, and feedback loops that fuel iteration.
  • Highly proactive, organized, and adaptable to fast-paced, evolving environments.
  • Passion for educational equity and innovation, with a belief in AI’s potential to transform learning when built thoughtfully.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20% to engage with school partners, educators, and internal teams.
