Success Academy is seeking to reimagine public education by finding profoundly different approaches to deliver a high-quality education at scale, and the AI Product Manager will play a key role in driving this mission by crafting AI experiences that enable educators to deliver better student outcomes, improve school operations, and drive efficiencies throughout the enterprise.
Requirements
- 3+ years of product management experience (AI/ML or data-driven platforms preferred but not necessary) with proven experience launching enterprise tools or customer-facing products.
- Experience designing custom GPT or other basic AI tools.
- Experience working in Agile development environments, using tools like JIRA or Confluence to manage backlogs and sprints.
- Knowledge of requirements gathering, project management, and process redesign.
- Proven experience in translating ambiguous business problems into concrete technical solutions.
- Demonstrated experience leading the development of AI projects from start to finish.
- Knowledge of GenAI and RAG strategies, MCP, and prompt engineering best practices.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end product lifecycle: From discovery and prioritization to delivery and optimization, driving various products and features on the AI roadmap.
- Data-driven prioritization: Apply a focused ROI-first approach to inform roadmap decisions.
- Translate business goals: Translate the needs of various stakeholders into clear AI/ML feature requirements in partnership with AI engineers and data scientists.
- Design intuitive and usable AI experiences: Collaborate with UX/UI and engineering to ensure seamless integration of LLMs, RAG, and ML outputs into an effective customer experience.
- Evaluate and experiment: Define evaluation metrics and work with data scientists to experiment, validate, and iterate on models and AI features.
- Continuously improve: Implement feedback loops to ensure models and AI features evolve based on real-world usage and user feedback.
- Be the glue: Serve as the connective tissue between business partners and technical teams, balancing technical feasibility and business impact to deliver the right solutions at the right time.
Other
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Economics, Applied Mathematics, Machine Learning, or a related field.
- Strong communication and storytelling skills (executive-level preferred but not necessary)
