Cactus is looking to solve the problem of running AI models locally on smartphones by providing a cross-platform open-source framework. This role will contribute to building and maintaining the tools and infrastructure necessary for app developers to deploy AI models directly within their mobile applications.
Requirements
- Strong background in Python, PyTorch/JAX internals
- Experience with deep learning and SOTA LLM/VLM/TTS
- Experience with C++ and ml inference is preferred
Responsibilities
- Read papers and replicate models/techniques in Cactus
- Build and maintain Python tools for porting JAX/PyTorch models to Cactus graphs
- Synergize strong mathematical foundations, intimate understanding of machine learning frameworks and experience with foundation models
- Work with model companies to get them started with Cactus

- Masters/PhD degree in CS/Maths/AI/Physics, or relevant experience
