Lockheed Martin Missiles and Fire Control (MFC) is looking to solve complex problems in various domains by designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML algorithms and models, and leveraging advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making across MFC engineering and production.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in AI/ML research and development, with a strong background in machine learning, deep learning, and natural language processing
- Experience with python
- Experience with AI/ML frameworks and libraries, including TensorFlow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn
- Strong publication record in top-tier AI/ML conferences and journals
- Experience with AI/ML ethics, fairness, and transparency
- Strong understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
- Proficiency with containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy innovative AI and machine learning (ML) solutions.
- Support the design, implementation, and refinement of data science systems supporting engineering and production workflows.
- Leverage advanced analytics, web development, data engineering, and machine learning to drive data-driven decision-making across MFC engineering and production.
- Apply advanced statistical techniques, machine learning algorithms, and data visualization methods to identify trends, patterns, and correlations in data from engineering development and production sources.
- Develop, implement, and advocate for AI-powered solutions.
- Designing, developing, and implementing AI/ML algorithms and models to solve complex problems in various domains.
- Experience in deployment of AI and statistical algorithm systems on high performance compute infrastructure.

- Data storytelling: using data visualization and communication techniques to translate complex data insights and recommendations to non-technical stakeholders and leadership.
- MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
- The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Ability to obtain an interim secret security clearance prior to start and therefore must be US Citizen
- Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.
