Requirements
- 5 years of experience designing and leading research programs in the AI for health space, with 2 years of experience in health-related generative AI research.
- Experience in the provision of patient care.
- Experience of working in AI and health in the private sector.
- Ideally, you will have considerable experience with generative AI research and tools.
- Experience in working in health AI research and development
- expertise in working cross-functionally with non-clinical teams including engineering, product management, UX/UXR, legal and regulatory affairs.
- demonstrable background working as a healthcare professional in your field with recognized expertise in a focused area of clinical care.
Responsibilities
- Use your AI and research expertise to provide strategic clinical leadership to teams across Google, contributing both to overarching strategic direction as well as to individual product and research roadmaps.
- Use clinical and domain expertise to provide clinical leadership, guidance, insights and direction on Google’s health-focused AI research projects, work on an embedded model with research, engineering, UX/UXR, product and partnerships teams.
- Identify relevant clinical guidelines, evidence-based practices, and use cases related to the development and evaluation of AI models and use these to influence research and product development.
- Respond to the needs of the business and projects prioritizing effort effectively, and work in a portfolio environment to bring your expertise to a range of endeavors.

Other
- Medical degree (MD, DO, MBBS or equivalent).
- 5 years of clinical experience (with training) after the completion of Medical degree.
- Advanced training in a medical speciality.
- Experience working in complex, dynamic, ambiguous environments with cross-functional product development teams.
- Experience working with partners, including C-suite leaders, Key Opinion Formers (KOF) and policy makers, or with speaking to external audiences.
