Laza Medical is developing state-of-the-art imaging solutions for cardiovascular applications using robotics and AI, aiming to democratize top-quality cardiovascular imaging. The AI Research Scientist will develop creative solutions to unsolved image analysis challenges for their novel medical device.
Requirements
- Proven experience with deep learning vision models.
- Proficiency in python, pytorch, CUDA, C++, CMake, DICOM.
- Experience in 3D visualization, graphics, imaging physics (esp. ultrasound), robotics a plus.
Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize AI/ML models that analyze cardiovascular images for robotic control.
- Develop creative solutions to train models under real-world constraints.
- Collaborate with image annotation team to produce high quality annotations for model training.
- Create virtual imaging systems as testbed platform.
- Collaborate with system software team to deploy models into product.
Other
- PhD or equivalent degree in Computer Science or a closely related field.
- Minimum 5 years’ experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Track record solving unsolved challenges.
- This is a full-time on-site position and will require reporting to our offices located in Campbell, CA.
