Requirements
- Strong background and research experience in AI/ML, specifically Generative AI and computer vision, as well as software engineering.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python or C++.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML and data analytics frameworks and libraries, such as Azure OpenAI, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
- Hands-on experience with AI/ML development lifecycle, such as dataset preparation, training, fine-tuning, testing, and optimization of AI/ML models.
- Strong publication record in reputed conferences, such as ICSE, CVPR, ICCV, and ECCV.
- 3-5 years hands-on experience with AI/ML and data analytics frameworks and libraries, such as Azure OpenAI, TensorFlow, and PyTorch.
Responsibilities
- Conduct research and analysis in software systems, system engineering, AI, and ML to identify emerging trends, technologies, and best practices.
- Understand existing software development processes and tools in the enterprise for Level 2+ systems and identify opportunities to leverage AI/ML technologies.
- Utilize recent advancements in Generative AI, such as Large Language Models (LLMs), Multi-modal Models, and Agentic AI framework, to develop impactful applications for the enterprise.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define research objectives, develop research plans, execute projects, and facilitate technology transfer.
- Contribute to GM R&D through the generation of new intellectual property and internal/external publications.
- Facilitate technology transfer by actively participating in inter-organizational teams.
- Collaborate with external partners, universities, and research institutions to foster innovation and drive collaborative research initiatives.

- MS Degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or a related STEM field.
