Requirements
- 2+ years of experience with machine learning engineering in software engineering or data engineering roles
- Experience building AI-enabled features or prototypes using LLMs, embeddings, or 3rd party APIs, including OpenAI or Anthropic
- Experience with basic prompt engineering concepts and using LLM SDKs or frameworks, including LangChain or LlamaIndex
- Experience with a vector database or search framework, including Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS
- Experience developing back-end services and building or consuming RESTful APIs
- Experience with AI-assisted development such as Cursor, Windsurf, or Claude Code
- Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Azure, or GCP, and their AI or ML services
Responsibilities
- architect, build, and deploy intelligent, agentic solutions that work across legacy infrastructure, modern platforms, and various stakeholder needs
- design AI-enabled systems that solve meaningful problems across enterprise and mission environments
- contribute to high-impact efforts that demand both technical skill and strategic insight
- develop back-end services and build or consume RESTful APIs
- follow code review practices, document work, and maintain clean and reusable code
- build AI-enabled features or prototypes using LLMs, embeddings, or 3rd party APIs
- use vector database or search framework, including Pinecone, Weaviate, or FAISS
Other
- Ability to obtain a Secret clearance
- Bachelor’s degree
- Ability to work in a team and collaborate with senior architects, platform leads, and business stakeholders
- Ability to follow instructions and meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
