The University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus is looking for an AI Solutions Specialist to design, build, and scale generative AI-driven applications that support a wide range of enterprise use cases across faculty, staff, and affiliate partners.
Requirements
- Experience in coordinating or managing AI projects from conception to deployment.
- Knowledge of big data technologies and tools (e.g., Hadoop, Spark).
- Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools.
- Understanding of ethical considerations in AI and a commitment to responsible AI development.
- ITIL Practices with a focus on customer relationship management
- Microsoft Azure AI Fundamentals Certification.
- Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., Azure, Google Cloud) and AI services.
Responsibilities
- Lead the design, customization, and deployment of AI solutions and using AI tools and frameworks.
- Build and optimize prompt libraries, models, and agents tailored to diverse business needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI into existing systems and services.
- Translate complex business objectives into scalable, impactful AI solutions.
- Stay at the forefront of AI innovation, applying the latest research and tools to real-world challenges.
- Guide adoption strategies and ensure usability and value for end users.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous learning, feedback, and solution refinement.
Other
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Education, or a closely related field.
- 1-2 or more years of experience in developing, deploying and administering and maintaining code or applications in a production environment.
- Strong business acumen, ability to identify pain points in business objectives and OKR’s and provide guidance on impactful solutions.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
