Mississippi Gulf Coast Community College (MGCCC) and the Mississippi Artificial Intelligence Network (MAIN) are looking to integrate artificial intelligence (AI) into education, workforce training, and civic innovation across Mississippi.
Requirements
- Master’s degree in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
- Experience in AI project leadership, curriculum design, or workforce development.
- Ability to apply emerging AI tools and methods to real-world challenges in public and private sectors.
- Knowledge of cloud services, open data systems, and public tech infrastructure.
- Postsecondary teaching experience and familiarity with Canvas or similar LMS.
- Experience in AI education, implementation, and applied solutions across sectors.
- Doctorate in Artificial Intelligence, Data Science, Computer Science, or related field.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with MGCCC administration, faculty, staff, and students as well as MAIN and MAIN partners to develop AI coursework aligned with workforce and public sector needs.
- Provide instruction for credit and non-credit AI courses, ensuring accessibility and relevance across diverse learner populations.
- Integrate scalable, project-based AI content into both credit and non-credit programs.
- Lead AI implementation projects in collaboration with state and local agencies that serve as real-world learning models.
- Build frameworks to ensure recurring engagement and problem-solving opportunities with public sector partners.
- Engage with government and industry stakeholders to map emerging AI skill demands and workforce gaps.
- Recommend curriculum updates based on adoption trends and labor market analysis.
